MDMA and Psychedelics are Therapeutic

Pål-Ørjan Johansen treated his alcoholism with psilocybin and then treated his traumatic memories with MDMA. Today he is a psychologist, researcher and a family man — educating the world about how MDMA and psychedelics can improve mental health.

EmmaSofia is a non-profit organisation founded by Teri Krebs and Pål-Ørjan Johansen. An organisation based in Oslo, Norway working to increase the access to quality-controlled MDMA and psychedelics.

Seven days ago EmmaSofia launched a crowdfunding campaign through Indiegogo. With your help EmmaSofia can continue their invaluable research, have the ability to produce quality-controlled MDMA and psychedelics, and continue their work towards legal access to MDMA and psychedelics for everyone.

Teri Krebs and Pål-Ørjan Johansen published a study that shows there is no link found between psychedelics and psychosis.

We are now witnessing around the world the busting of the myth that marijuana is a dangerous drug. You can help them continue to bust the myth that MDMA and psychedelics are dangerous.

Marijuana, MDMA and psychedelics are only dangerous if they are prohibited. As prohibition not only hinders the access the quality-controlled products, but also makes it difficult to conduct scientific research. Research that can provide both the public and researchers with invaluable knowledge.

Consider backing EmmaSofia’s crowdfunding campaign to increase knowledge about MDMA and psychedelics and improve mental health.

Dr. Jimmy Wall — journalist and columnist. Drawn to journalism thanks to Hunter S. Thompson’s Gonzo journalism. He shares the good old doctor’s disdain of objective journalism, as he too sees how it can be easily used to either not uncover the truth or pretend you have reported the truth. The good old doctor said it best, “I don't quite understand this worship of objectivity in journalism. Now, just flat-out lying is different from being subjective.”

  • This is great news! These drugs should be made available for further research and treatment. Indeed, there are many drugs which offer much less potential yet are legal.

For those interested, I noticed that Pål-Ørjan Johansen and Teri Krebs will be doing an AMA tomorrow at reddit.com/r/science.
